Hemostatic agents are critical in military settings, particularly in combat situations where severe bleeding occurs. These products are vital in the first minutes following an injury and are designed to quickly stop bleeding and prevent hemorrhagic shock, saving lives on the battlefield.<\/p>

Requirement<\/strong><\/p>

Oximio, Ukraine, was recently contacted by a U.S. based hemostatic agent manufacturer who sought to support Ukraine’s military efforts in the on-going war with Russia by providing essential donations. They needed a reliable logistics partner to facilitate the importation and distribution of these essential supplies to medical centres supporting the country\u2019s frontline.<\/p>

Solution
<\/strong>
With over 20 years extensive experience in international logistics, Oximio leveraged its strong network in Ukraine, including close connections with the Ministry of Health, to create a taskforce to manage the importation, customs clearance, and transportation of approximately 10 shipments of critical supplies.<\/p>

Our thorough understanding of both global and local logistics, particularly in war-torn times, and regulatory requirements was vital to ensure that the products were delivered without delay and met and complied with quality standards.<\/p>

In addition to the successful delivery of the shipments, the U.S. company won a tender to provide large-scale assistance to Ukraine, further expanding their service contribution. There was also a subsequent request for the collection of data on the usage of these products.<\/p>

Our efficient and flexible approach enabled the U.S. manufacturer to deliver crucial hemostatic agents to frontline zones in Ukraine, significantly contributing to military medical efforts. The timely and successful shipments directly supported the company\u2019s large-scale engagement in Ukraine. Furthermore, the comprehensive data collection on product usage facilitated ongoing research, adding value to the medical community’s understanding of hemostatic products.<\/p>
