Oximio Expands Clinical Trial Supply Chain Capabilities in Türkiye

Oximio is pleased to announce the successful expansion of capabilities at our Türkiye depot following approval from the Turkish Ministry of Health. The upgrade further strengthens our ability to support clinical trial logistics and temperature-controlled supply chains across the region while maintaining full compliance with local regulatory and Good Distribution Practice (GDP) requirements.

As part of the development, several key infrastructure enhancements have been implemented to increase operational capacity and ensure the highest standards of regulatory compliance.

The upgrades include:

  • A new dedicated 2–8°C storage room, significantly increasing capacity for temperature-controlled investigational medicinal products (IMPs) and clinical trial supplies.
  • A new destruction quarantine area, providing enhanced infrastructure for compliant segregation and controlled handling of materials pending destruction, in line with regulatory requirements.

These enhancements ensure that Oximio can continue to provide reliable, compliant, and scalable supply chain solutions for sponsors and CROs conducting clinical trials in Türkiye and the wider region. The new facilities are now fully operational and ready to support both ongoing and upcoming clinical projects.

Güneş Yildirim, Regional Director for MENA (Middle East and North Africa) said “This expansion represents an important step in strengthening our local infrastructure and our ability to support clients running clinical trials within the country. By increasing temperature-controlled capacity and enhancing our compliance capabilities, we are ensuring that sponsors can rely on Oximio for secure, efficient, and fully compliant clinical supply chain solutions.”
